Mazi is Alonsera's Strategic Partner and the AI Education & Enablement Public Sector Program Director, bringing over 30 years of investment and business leadership experience. His background includes key positions at Morgan Stanley and Hesel Phelps where he was Director of International Project Development focusing on state department and defense projects. Currently, he directs the Korean AI Training Program at Oxford and spearheads initiatives that promote the responsible adoption of AI, data governance, and digital transformation within government ministries in Asia and Latin America. In addition, Mazi collaborates with various stakeholders to enhance public sector AI initiatives and foster innovation.
Mazi is a Fund Advisor to the Paris-based Life Science Venture Capital Fund, Kurma Partners, where he plays a vital role in shaping strategy, developing investment pipelines, and building relationships with limited partners. He also leads the Finance Working Group at the Oxford Commission on Sustainability Data, collaborating with institutional investors and major software companies to establish transparent and auditable ESG data standards. His recent research at Oxford investigates the macroeconomic implications of AI, focusing on key areas such as data transparency, national security, and trade policy. She is Chancellor’s Professor and the Robert A. and Barbara L. Kleist Professor of Informatics at the University of California, Irvine. Her research focuses on designing technologies that empower individuals to use data ethically to meet human needs. Dr. Hayes leads the CERES global research network of scholars developing and studying innovative technology solutions for youth mental health, education, and development.
She is also the Vice Provost for Academic Personnel, focusing on talent acquisition and development of leading academic scholars across the campus.
Dr. Hayes is a Jacobs Foundation Senior Research Fellow alumna, a Kavli Fellow, an IEEE Senior Member, an ACM Distinguished Member, and a member of the ACM SIGCHI Academy. She earned her PhD in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and her BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Vanderbilt University.

Cory brings over two decades of experience at the intersection of AI, robotics, and healthcare. As founder and CEO of Catalia Health, he created Mabu, an AI-powered companion robot that conducts daily conversations with patients managing chronic conditions, combining psychology, AI, and clinical best practices to improve medication adherence and behavior change. His earlier company, Intuitive Automata, developed interactive coaches for weight management.
His expertise spans machine learning deployment, clinical validation, regulatory strategy for AI-enabled medical devices, and the psychology of human-robot relationships. He holds patents on interactive healthcare robotics and was awarded the inaugural Wall Street Journal/Credit Suisse Technopreneur of the Year in 2010.
Cory earned his PhD and MS in Human-Robot Interaction from the MIT Media Lab, where his research demonstrated the clinical and psychological advantages of physical robots over screen-based interactions. He also holds a BS in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, where he worked on the Aware Home Research Initiative exploring how technology can help people age in place. Brian Lin is a Business Analyst at Alonsera, where he supports strategic decision-making through research, process evaluation, and cross-functional collaboration. In this role, he contributes to project managing, operational analysis, and client-facing initiatives that help drive organizational growth and efficiency.
Born in Southern California and raised in Taiwan, Brian attended the German Waldorf School before continuing his artistic studies as a cellist at the Orange County School of the Arts. He is currently pursuing a Music major with a Business minor at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), where he blends creative insight with analytical thinking.
Brian’s diverse background spans advertising, accounting, and consulting. He has held roles with a social media advertising firm and Experience for Mankind Advertising Agency, building experience in market research, content strategy, and client communication.
